Drug Prevention…Fentanyl Crisis…Peer Support…Power of Choices

Our Mission

Today’s youth are facing more affronts to their mental health than any other generation. Our specific focus is on their elevated risk of drug abuse and the growing danger of fentanyl and opioid overdose.

·        To tell the truth about these dangers through sharing our firsthand experiences.

·        To encourage students that they are not alone, and they have purpose.

·        To support them and the people who care most about them with tools to overcome these struggles.

·        To ultimately save lives.

John Humpries, Madison Grant Highschool: The dangers of fentanyl!

Meet Cody Knuckles

Cody was a 3-sport athlete in high school who became addicted to opioids after a sport-related injury his senior year. Cody went from being a promising student-athlete simultaneously coaching wrestling and football to serving several prison sentences for his addiction and life choices. After 11 years of traumatic experiences while incarcerated, he had had enough. Cody’s eyes finally opened to the hardships his choices had brought, not only for himself but on his loved ones and community as well.

Cody has been sober since October 24, 2017, and has had the opportunity to mentor several other men many of whom have successfully gone through Hope House and Grace House programs in Marion, Indiana. He has also served on the leadership team and as a regular speaker at Friday Night Recovery Service for several years.

He has spoken on panels, at many support groups, churches, and schools wherein he strives to recount his raw and truthful story in hopes that future generations will see that they have power in the choices they make today including the influences and people that they surround themselves with.

Meet John Humphries

John Humphries struggled with addiction for 17 years starting in his teens with alcohol which led to other drugs. Sober since April 24, 2012, John mentors and supports all ages in recovery. He has shared his message of awareness, hope, and the dangers of drugs with schools, colleges, city councils, jails, prisons, recovery groups, churches, and community leaders through forums, keynotes, panel discussions and interviews.
